Profitable Gold Parties Capitalizing on Growing Interest in Gold – Here's How to Have Your Own!

Innovative and rewarding gold parties are popping up all over northern Colorado these days. [Could they be coming your way in the near future? Better yet, why don’t you make arrangements to have your very own! Here’s how.] Words: 460

So says Brian Kaplan (www.nocogoldanddiamond.com) in edited excerpts from an article* which which Lorimer Wilson, editor of www.munKNEE.com (Your Key to Making Money!), has further edited below for length and clarity – see Editor’s Note at the bottom of the page. Kaplan goes on to say, in part:

I am the owner of NoCo Gold & Diamond, a web-based company that has been buying and selling gold and silver for the past 25 years. [Recently, here in northern Colorado, we] introduced a fun and profitable [element to the conventional “we buy your unwanted gold jewelry” pitch seen on TV – the “gold party”].

The Profit Potential

Unlike traditional jewelry parties where friends are invited to spend money on products…gold parties make everyone richer. Guests bring all their old, unwanted, broken and outdated gold, silver and diamonds to the gathering. After everyone is settled, a…professional certified appraiser/buyer performs on-sight appraisals and pays guests for their offerings on the spot…The host or hostess makes up to 10%. What’s not to like? If a host invites 30 guests from whom the appraiser buys $8,000 worth of gold, silver or diamonds, the host receives $800.00. Value is determined by current gold [and silver] prices and by the purity and weight of the precious metals [and quality and karats of the diamonds. Because [of the gold party approach]…they can pass the savings along to sellers in the form of higher payoffs…[Read What’s the Difference Between 1 Gold Karat, 1 Diamond Carat and 1 Troy Ounce?]

The Set Up

My company makes it easy to have a gold party. Hosts complete a short form on our website and set a date and then on the date of the party, the appraiser arrives before the party, [be it at one’s home, church, community centre or place of business,] to help set up. If a host has questions before the party…[the appraiser/buyer] is available to answer them.

The Attendees

It is easy to find guests because most everyone has at least something they can sell. Along with any kind of gold jewelry, guests can also bring gold coins, charms, dental and scrap gold, watches, gold wire, gold solder, loose diamonds, links, nuggets, bars, even sterling silver flatware and sterling serving pieces.  Hosts can invite friends, family, neighbors and, unlike most jewelry parties, men will want to attend, too. Hosts are free to develop enticing themes that emphasize getting cash for gold jewelry.

Conclusion

“Gold parties” will be a huge success because everyone profits from the proceedings…[It is an] easy way to make extra money and to have a good time in the bargain.
